Wilson Grabs Pair of Top Ten Efforts at Zanesville and Lincoln

JULY 9, 2024 – – – Following a rain-out on Friday night at Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series took the JRR Motorsports team to Muskingum County Speedway in Zanesville, Ohio on Saturday evening, July 6. A $20,000 top prize was up for grabs in the annual running of the ‘Freedom 60’ at MCS. Daulton Wilson placed sixth in his heat race prior to nabbing the third and final transfer spot through his B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the eleventh row in the 60-lap headliner, Daulton hard charged past thirteen competitors during the contest to land in the ninth finishing position.

On Monday night, July 8, the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series presided over another $20,000 to win show at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois. Daulton posted the fifth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session and later finished third in his loaded heat race. The Fayetteville, North Carolina ace then started the 50-lapper from the outside of the fourth row and ultimately wound up ninth once again at the waving of the checkered flag.
