MAY 29, 2024 – – – Following the ‘Show-Me 100,’ the #18D team made the trip to the mighty Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois on Tuesday night, May 28 for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series lid lifter. A total of 27 competitors signed into the pit area at the tiny 1/5-mile oval to do battle for the $20,000 top prize.
Daulton Wilson stopped the clock twelfth quickest overall during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the fifth transfer spot through his heat race. After starting fifteenth on the grid in the 50-lap feature, Daulton did his best to dodge all of the wrecks and incidents during the course of the caution-plagued contest. At the checkers, the Fayetteville, North Carolina ace had picked up seven spots to land in the eighth finishing position.
