NOVEMBER 10, 2024 – – – JRR Motorsports invaded the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina from November 6-9 for the 18th edition of the ‘World Finals,’ which was sanctioned by the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series. Following time trials on Wednesday, a pair of $15,000 to win preliminary programs were on tap the next two nights. On Thursday evening, Daulton Wilson won his heat race prior to placing fifth in the 35-lap feature behind only winner Ricky Thornton, Jr., Drake Troutman, Chris Madden, and Mike Marlar. In Friday’s show, Daulton unfortunately failed to transfer into the 35-lapper after finishing fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main.
In front of a huge grandstand crowd on Saturday, a hefty $25,000 first place prize was up for grabs in the finale for the ground-pounding Super Late Models. Daulton ran sixth in his dash, which lined him up starting the 50-lap headliner from the outside of the third row. The Fayetteville, North Carolina ace then quickly moved up to the third spot before eventually winding up fifth at the checkered flag to trail only victor Chris Madden, Ricky Thornton, Jr., Mike Marlar, and Jonathan Davenport.
