OCTOBER 27, 2024 – – – The “Rattler” Justin Rattliff and his #16 team put the finishing touches on their 2024 campaign on Saturday night, October 26 at Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) presided over the inaugural ‘Jeff Gullett Tribute’ race and a $7,500 first place prize was up for grabs. Jeff was a long-time crew chief for JRR Motorsports and unfortunately passed away in September of this year.
Justin ran third in his consolation race and later started the 40-lap main event from the outside of the fifth row. The Campbellsville, Kentucky ace was then able to work his way past a pair of competitors during the ‘Jeff Gullett Tribute’ event to place eighth at the unfurling of the checkered flag.
