JUNE 30, 2024 – – – The month of June ended in a big way for JRR Motorsports, as the unsanctioned ‘Volunteer 50’ was held on June 28-29 at the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee. In his split-field, $5,000 to win preliminary program on Friday night, Daulton Wilson laid down the sixth quickest lap in his group during the qualifying session. After starting the 25-lap feature from the outside of the third row, Daulton slipped back a few spots during the contest to land in the tenth finishing position.

On Saturday evening at “The Gap,” a whopping $50,050 top prize was up for grabs in the weekend finale. Daulton won his consolation event to earn the rights to the outside of the ninth row in the 50-lap headliner. The Fayetteville, North Carolina ace then picked off a handful of competitors to cross underneath the checkers in the thirteenth spot.
