MAY 26, 2024 – – – The Memorial Day holiday weekend took the JRR Motorsports team to the state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri from May 23-25 for the 32nd Annual ‘Show-Me 100,’ which was once again co-sanctioned by both the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Lucas Oil MLRA Series. The three-day, crown jewel spectacular kicked off with a pair of $10,000 to win preliminary programs. On Thursday night, Daulton Wilson finished fourth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later picked off thirteen competitors during the course of the 45-lap ‘Cowboy Classic’ on his way to a strong sixth place effort.

With another $10,000 payday on the line on Friday evening at Wheatland, Daulton grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race and later started sixteenth on the grid in the 40-lap main event. He was then able to work his way past four racecars during the contest to cross underneath the checkers in the twelfth spot.

When Saturday rolled around in the Show-Me State, all eyes were fixated on the grand finale, which boasted a $50,000 first place prize. By virtue of accumulating the eighth most points during preliminary action, Daulton earned the rights to the outside of the fourth row for the start of the ‘Show-Me 100.’ During the course of the race, which was cut to only 80 circuits due to impending inclement weather, the Fayetteville, North Carolina star made a late rally to climb all the way to third to land on the podium behind only victor Jonathan Davenport and runner-up Tim McCreadie!
