Wilson Celebrates in Lucas Oil Victory Lane in East Bay Finale!

FEBRUARY 10, 2024 – – – Daulton Wilson is finally a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series winner!!!  In the final ‘Winternationals’ race ever at East Bay Raceway Park, Daulton timed in third quickest in Group B during the qualifying session before securing a heat race triumph.  After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 50-lap headliner, Daulton grabbed the point on lap sixteen and never looked back.  The Fayetteville, North Carolina rising star then captured the $15,000 payday for his first career series triumph over Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Erb, Garrett Smith, and Devin Moran! FEBRUARY 9, 2024 – – – The penultimate event of the 48th Annual ‘Winternationals’ took place earlier this evening at East Bay Raceway Park and JRR Motorsports was gunning for the $12,000 first place prize money.  Daulton Wilson laid down the fourth quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session prior to running second in his loaded heat race.  After starting the 50-lapper from the outside of the fourth row, Daulton strolled past a handful of competitors to land on the podium in third behind only victor Jonathan Davenport and runner-up Hudson O’Neal!

FEBRUARY 8, 2024 – – – It was a busy night at East Bay Raceway Park, as a pair of features were held at the track deemed as the “Clay by the Bay.” In the regularly scheduled $10,000 to win program for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Daulton Wilson placed fourth in his stacked heat race, won his B-Main, and later drove past five competitors during the 40-lap main event to salvage a sixteenth place showing.  With a $5,000 paycheck on the line in the rain postponed contest from Monday evening, Daulton rolled off from the outside of the fifth row in the 30-lapper before eventually nabbing a solid seventh place performance.

FEBRUARY 7, 2024 – – – The 48th edition of the ‘Winternationals’ continued tonight at East Bay Raceway Park, as a $7,000 winner’s check was up for grabs for the cars and stars racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.  Daulton Wilson stopped the clock fifth quickest in Group A during qualifying before claiming yet another heat race win.  After starting third on the grid in the 40-lap feature, Daulton was in the mix for the victory, officially led lap twenty, and ultimately settled for a fourth place effort behind only race winner Tyler Erb, Mike Marlar, and Jonathan Davenport!

FEBRUARY 6, 2024 – – – A $5,000 first place prize was on the line tonight at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida in what was essentially round one of the ‘Winternationals’ due to Monday’s rain-out.  Daulton Wilson laid down the third quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session prior to securing a heat race triumph.  After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 30-lap main event, Daulton vaulted to as high as second in the caution-free affair to earn an impressive runner-up performance behind only victor Hudson O’Neal!

FEBRUARY 5, 2024 – – – Tonight’s opening portion of the 48th Annual ‘Winternationals’ at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida has been postponed.  The $5,000 to win show for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be made up in segments at the conclusion of each regularly scheduled program over the course of the next three nights at the “Clay by the Bay.”

At the conclusion of Tuesday’s program, time trials for Monday’s event will be contested.  On Wednesday, heat races and B-Mains for Monday will be contested at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled program.  Finally, the 25-lap A-Main from Monday will take place following Thursday night’s shootout.
