SEPTEMBER 2, 2024 – – -Daulton Wilson, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, stood tall in victory lane for the third time in 2024 on Friday night, August 30 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series presided over the ‘Boone Coleman Gator 50’ and 21 Super Late Model drivers were in attendance. Daulton knocked down the second quickest lap overall during qualifying prior to picking up a heat race triumph. Daulton then wired the feature field by leading all fifty circuits to bag the $7,500 first place prize over runner-up Garrett Alberson, Seth Daniels, R.J. Conley, and Shane Bailey!
Following the victory and a pair of subsequent Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rain-outs at Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park and Tyler County (WV) Speedway, the #18D team wound up at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Sunday evening, September 1. The annual running of the ‘Baltes Classic’ took place last night at the “Big E” and the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series special shelled out a $5,000 winner’s check.
