OCTOBER 6, 2024 – – – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series took the #18D team to the sprawling Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania on October 4-5 for the 36th edition of the ‘Pittsburgher 100.’ With a $10,000 payday up for grabs in Friday’s weekend opener, Daulton Wilson laid down the eighth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying prior to grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. After starting seventeenth on the grid in the 30-lap feature event and pitting during the course of the contest, Daulton was officially placed seventeenth in the final rundown.
On Saturday evening at PPMS with a whopping $50,000 first place prize on the line, Daulton started off his evening by posting the fifth quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session. After running third in his heat race, the Fayetteville, North Carolina ace wound up nineteenth at the unfurling of the checkered flag after 70 green flag circuits. Daulton still finds himself eighth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings exiting the Keystone State.
