SEPTEMBER 8, 2024 – – – From September 4-7, JRR Motorsports was in the pit area at the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Daulton Wilson won his heat race, but later pitted during the 50-lap main event after starting in the third spot. He returned to the track to salvage a nineteenth place effort.
The 54th edition of the ‘World 100’ then took center stage at the “Big E” – starting with a pair of $12,000 to win, split-field preliminary programs. On Thursday evening, Daulton suffered problems in his Shootout race, but received a Fast Time provisional into the 25-lap feature and finished in the twenty-second spot. In a similar show on Friday, Daulton placed sixth in his Shootout race prior to running seventeenth in his 25-lapper.
With a whopping $57,000 paycheck up for grabs in Saturday’s annual ‘World 100,’ the Fayetteville, North Carolina ace grabbed the third and final transfer spot through his loaded heat race. Aboard his new “Perminator” paint scheme, Daulton started the 100-lap crown jewel headliner from the inside of the eighth row and ultimately placed seventeenth in the extra distance affair.
