APRIL 14, 2024 – – – Daulton Wilson and the JRR Motorsports team trekked west to the Show-Me State on April 12-13 for the 11th annual running of the ‘Spring Nationals.’ The Lucas Oil MLRA Series presided over the doubleheader weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway, which kicked off on Friday with a $7,000 to win throwdown. Daulton was unfortunately caught up in a heat race wreck and was only able to advance up to fifth in his B-Main. The Fayetteville, North Carolina standout ultimately missed out on the 40-lap feature by two mere positions through the consolation race.
Things went smoother for the #18D team on Saturday in Wheatland, Missouri with a $20,000 top prize up for grabs. Daulton finished ninth in his stacked heat race, but later grabbed the second transfer spot through his B-Main. “Big Perm” then put on a show during the 60-lap finale, as he blasted past eleven competitors during the contest to land in the eighth finishing position.
