APRIL 8, 2024 – – – The XR Super Series kicked off their 2024 campaign on April 6-7 at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee. The two-day ‘Spring Thaw’ spectacular started on Saturday night with a $30,000 to win showdown. Daulton Wilson posted the seventh quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to finishing third in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the fifth row in the 60-lap headliner, Daulton was able to steer past a handful of competitors en route to a strong fifth place effort behind only victor Mike Marlar, Devin Moran, Jonathan Davenport, and Chris Ferguson!
On Sunday evening with a $12,000 payday up for grabs in the finale, Daulton timed in sixth fastest in Group B during qualifying and later placed third in his loaded heat race. The Fayetteville, North Carolina ace then picked off a pair of racecars during the 40-lapper to leave Volunteer Speedway with a tenth place showing.
