AUGUST 5, 2023 – – – The Justin Rattliff Racing (JRR) team was back in the pit area at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky on Friday night, August 4 for the annual running of the ‘Pete Abell Memorial.’ In Super Late Model action, Justin Rattliff placed third in his heat race and was running solidly inside of the top five in the $7,500 to win headliner before his breather fell off. After pitting to make repairs, Justin returned to the track to salvage a sixth place effort in the 40-lap affair. Behind the wheel of his Crate Late Model, the “Rattler” was in the fifth spot in the $3,000 to win main event until a flat tire dropped him to eighteenth in the final finishing order.
