APRIL 21, 2024 – – – Justin Rattliff, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, made his 2024 debut on Saturday evening, April 20 at Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky. The Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series invaded the Bluegrass State oval to preside over the $10,053 to win ‘Johnny Wheeler Memorial.’
Justin stopped the clock eighteenth quickest during the qualifying session, but later blasted up to third in his stacked heat race. After starting the 53-lap headliner from the inside of the fifth row, Justin was battling for a possible top five showing in the contest until suffering a late flat tire. After attention from the JRR Motorsports crew, the “Rattler” returned to the racing surface to salvage a hard-fought ninth place performance in his season lid lifter.
